You’re invited: Frankston Skate Park Turns 20
Frankston, it’s time. Your local Skate Park is turning 20, and we’re throwing a community celebration to match. Whether you’ve grown up at the park, dropped in once or twice, or just love the vibe – this one’s for you.
Join us on Saturday 18 April 2026 for an afternoon of skate culture, music, memories and good times at the Frankston Skate Park 20th Anniversary Celebration.
Proudly presented by Peninsula Leisure, this event is all about celebrating the people who’ve made the park what it is today – a welcoming, inclusive space that’s been part of Frankston life for two decades.
Expect live music from Fresh Frankston, skate and BMX action, community games, giveaways and yes… cake (because you don’t turn 20 every day).
We’re also bringing the memories to life with a community photo wall, packed with moments from the past 20 years. You might just spot yourself – or someone you know.
Peninsula Leisure extends its thanks to its partners at Frankston City Council for their ongoing support to the Frankston Skate Park and park users.

- Cost: Free. The event is open to everyone, with no bookings required.
We’ve got a stacked afternoon planned:
- 12:15pm – Band 1 from Fresh Frankston
- 12:45 – 1:00pm – Official Welcome, Photos and Birthday Cake
- 1:15pm – BBQ fires up! Band 2
- 1:45pm – Bowl Jam (hosted by the Skate Park crew)
- 2:15pm – Band 3
- 2:45pm – Skate Games
- 3:15pm – Band 4
- 3:45pm – Obstacle Jam
- 4:15pm – Wrap up + thanks
Bring your board, scooter or bike. Or just roll in and soak up the atmosphere.
