Frankston is gearing up for an epic day of action at the Frankston Skate Park, as the 2026 Skate Park Leagues (SPL) competition rolls in on Saturday 21 March 2026.
Skateboarders, scooter riders and BMX riders will hit the ramps and rails, competing for local bragging rights and earning points toward the Victorian Metro Series League Ladders. Every ride counts, with points stacking across the season to crown Victoria’s top riders for 2026.
Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome
Whether you’re trying your first trick or landing them like a pro, the Frankston round is open to everyone. SPL is all about inclusivity, fun and community – giving riders the chance to show off their skills, build confidence, and take part in a bit of friendly competition.
Medals go to the top three in each category, with prizes raffled among all participants – celebrating effort, courage and the thrill of having a go.
The park will be buzzing with energy as families, friends and spectators come together to cheer on local talent, soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Frankston Skate Park, and enjoy a free community BBQ for all participants.
SPL is Australia’s biggest grassroots series for skateboarding, scootering and BMX. The Frankston event is proudly delivered by Peninsula Leisure and Frankston City Council, in partnership with YMCA Victoria, Skate Australia and AusCycling.
