Conditions of entry: Unsupervised children will be removed from the water and placed in a safe area until collected by the parent/guardian. An unsupervised child of poor swimming ability regardless of age will be removed from the water by a staff member if we are concerned for the safety of that child. When children are under the supervision of a teacher in a structured PARC Swim lesson, a parent/guardian must still maintain constant visual supervision. Groups will not be permitted entry where the number of parent/guardians supervising a group of children under 10 years exceeds of 1:4 (1:2 for children under 5 years).

Everyone is welcome at PINES and we deliver exceptional experiences to every person with any need. Accessibility is enhanced through our spacious facility that has wide entrances, pathways and access ramps at entry. There is an accessible change room and toilet as well as hoist facilities for the pool area.

Physiotherapists or other support health professionals are welcome to accompany our visitors for rehabilitation purposes. We want all our visitors to feel a sense of belonging so please feel free to discuss accessibility with our friendly team. Also check our facility availability page prior to arrival to ensure all equipment is open and working.

PINES Quiet Hour Swims

We’re thrilled to announce that our Quiet Hour Swims at PINES are now an ongoing program, offering a low-stimulation aquatic environment for all visitors. Join us during our dedicated Quiet Hours for a peaceful and accommodating swim:

Tuesdays: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

During Quiet Hour Swims, we’re committed to creating a calm and sensory-friendly space for everyone to enjoy. Here’s what you can expect:

No music or unnecessary announcements: We will ensure the pool area remains quiet and serene by pausing music and limiting speaker system use to essential messages only.
Noise-awareness reminders: Our team will greet patrons at the entrance to inform them about Quiet Hour and kindly ask everyone to be mindful of noise levels.
Controlled bookings: We’ll carefully manage Centre bookings to maintain a tranquil environment during Quiet Hours.
Dedicated support: Our friendly PINES team will be available to assist all visitors and ensure a comfortable experience for everyone attending.
